EOTTM will present a fight of unprecedented magnitude at the Cabaret du Casino de Montr\u00e9al on September 4. Osleys \u201cEl Tornado\u201d Iglesias, already the IBO world champion, will face Russian contender Vladimir Shishkin in an IBF eliminator. This highly anticipated clash will headline the event in Quebec and be broadcast around the world \u2014 starting at 6:30 p.m. \u2014 on Punching Grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The super middleweight division is currently the most competitive in boxing, and we\u2019ll have the IBF\u2019s top two contenders in the ring, on our turf, with a potential fight against ‘Canelo’ Alvarez on the line. Currently holding the IBO world title, Osleys Iglesias (13-0, 12 KOs)<\/strong> has been making waves since signing with EOTTM. In 2024 alone, he secured four knockout victories over Marcelo Coceres, Evgeny Shvedenko, Sena Agbeko, and Petro Ivanov \u2014 all delivered in dominant, even terrifying fashion. That said, he has no intention of slowing down ahead of the biggest fight of his career, and against the toughest opponent he\u2019s faced yet.<\/p>\n

If Iglesias wants to prove he\u2019s the top fighter in his division, he\u2019ll have a golden opportunity to do so against one of the most established and dangerous contenders in the weight class. Vladimir Shishkin (16-1, 10 KOs)<\/strong> won his first 16 professional fights against notable opponents such as Najib Mohammedi, DeAndre Ware, Sena Agbeko, and Jose Uzcategui. His only career loss came in his last outing, in October, when he dropped a controversial decision to William Scull in an IBF world title bout.<\/p>\n

Shishkin lost a razor-thin decision to Scull, and I\u2019m proud that Salita Promotions was able to secure another major opportunity for him so quickly. Also on the card, two-time Olympian Dzmitry Asanau (10-0, 4 KOs)<\/strong> will defend his WBC Continental lightweight title, as well as Jhon Orobio (14-0, 12 KO)<\/strong> at super-lightweight. Avery Martin Duval (13-0-1, 7 KOs)<\/strong> will enter the ring for his first scheduled 10-round bouts. EOTTM\u2019s 2024 Prospect of the Year, Moreno Fendero (11-0, 9 KOs)<\/strong>, will step into the ring for his fourth scheduled 8-round fight of 2025.
